Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, raised in Toronto, Canada and currently residing in Northern America, Tarikua (Herstory) is a poet, a writer, a mother, a wife and so much more. Painting the world around her with words, her poetry has been  hailed as:
“Societal Journalism”  and referenced as “The Voice of Today”. 

Tarikua- pronounced- ta-ree-qwa in Amharic translates to “Her story”.
